Overview
I-N-TECH’s conduit hydropower turbine is designed to recover energy from water flowing through existing pipelines and convert it into electricity for nearby infrastructure.
The proposed system targets suitable locations where excess hydraulic pressure is already reduced. It combines a turbine and generator with monitoring and electrical controls. Site selection and sizing must maintain the required downstream pressure, water supply and operating performance.
Key Features
- Energy recovery from available water flow and pressure
- Integration into suitable existing water pipelines
- Turbine and generator sized for each installation
- Proposed flow, pressure and energy monitoring
- IoT connectivity and remote dashboard integration
- Power conditioning for selected local electrical loads
- Bypass and isolation arrangement for maintenance
Technical Specifications
